The right link opens the right app
A YouTube link shared on Instagram opens in Instagram’s own browser, where your visitor is signed in to nothing. A Klyk deep link opens the YouTube app, where they are already signed in and can subscribe in one tap.

The app, not the browser
The visitor lands in the app they already use, signed in: they subscribe, listen or buy without typing a password again.
26 apps recognised
YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, WhatsApp, Amazon, TikTok and twenty more. Paste a link from one of them and Klyk recognises the platform.
A fallback, planned
The app is not installed? The visitor sees the web page, or the app’s store listing. You choose, link by link.
Elsewhere, a normal link
On a computer, or for an address no app handles, the link redirects as usual. Nothing breaks.
In your QR codes too
The QR code holds the short link, which does the rest: scanned on a phone with the app installed, it opens the app.
Measured like the rest
Visits through a deep link are counted with the same criteria: country, device, system, source. The analytics.
One switch per link
Paste the link
A YouTube video, an Instagram profile, a Spotify album: Klyk recognises the platform as soon as you paste the address.
Open in the app
Turn the option on in the link’s settings, then choose the fallback: the web page, or the store.
Share
On Android, the system opens the app if it is installed. On iPhone, Klyk opens it for the apps that allow it, and shows the web page otherwise.
The 26 apps recognised
Paste a link from one of them, and Klyk knows which app to open.

From a short link, an iPhone only opens an app that documents a way to do so: the first seven do, for the content they know how to open. For the rest it shows the web page, which is still the right content. Nothing is guessed, because a link that opens nothing would be worse than one that opens the page.
Frequently asked
What is a deep link?
A link that opens a mobile app directly, on the right content, rather than a web page in a browser. For a YouTube video, it is the video in the YouTube app.
Why do my links open in Instagram’s or TikTok’s browser?
These apps open links in their own browser, where your visitor is signed in to nothing. A deep link takes them out of that browser and into the destination app.
What if the app is not installed?
The visitor sees the destination’s web page, or, if you chose that fallback and where possible, the app’s store listing. They never hit a dead end.
Do deep links work on iPhone?
Yes for YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, X, Amazon, WhatsApp and Telegram, which document how to open them from a link. For other apps, the iPhone shows the web page. On Android, all 26 apps open directly.
Are deep links free?
Yes, like the rest of Klyk today. The option is set link by link, with no limit.
Does a deep link change my link’s address?
No. The short address stays the same, and you can turn opening in the app on or off at any time, without sharing anything again.
